Can you cash a check at a different bank than is on the check?
I just recieved a $3000 student loan check for school and I need to cash it to get items for school . The bank that is on the check isn’t anywhere near me. I have a checking account with Bank of America. Will they cash my check since I have an account with them? I don’t wanna deposit the check I want to cash it.
IF it is an official bank check and/or a corporate check… you should be able to cash it at your bank, otherwise the hold on it is 24-72 hours… You can do without the access to it for 3 days… seriously….
