Government Loan To Buy A House
For a Single unemployed NRI mom who wants to build a house back home.What are the best options?
Hi.My sister is recently divorced & has a kid.She is unemployed & wants to settle back in India but due to funds issue cannot.What are the benefits that the Indian Government can provide her,if any?Can she apply for a loan to buy a house back home?Please advise

Unfortunately, India does not have a decent unemployment program and even then your Sister may not qualify given her NRI status (and foreign passport?)
Being an NRI alone does not give any special qualification to a home loan application. Banks are getting tough in the current market and will want proof of income and other credentials before they give out loans.
Family support and her skills is probably what she has to bank on
