where can I find a reliable home equity line of credit without prepayment fee if I sell my house?
Hi all, Where can I find a reliable HELOC without prepayment fee if I sell my house? All major banks I have asked to have a 2000 fee if I sell the house within three years. Thanks!
they Most banks that I know of will charge a prepayment penalty in the closing line, before three years. Becareful with this as some lenders have what they call a flat fee but then tack on the title insurance (if required) and mortgage recording fees. I will try some smaller, local banks or if you have access to a credit union that may be your best bet
