I'm buying a house with an FHA Loans for primary residence. FHA will allow me to rent my basement?
The house has a finished basement that could potentially can serve as an opportunity. Is it against FHA rules to lease the basement? I would still be living upstairs. Thank you.
You'd better look into zones your property if its zoned for multi-family it would have to meet city standards, fire escape from the bedroom, window size, window height from the floor.
